I’m starting a “Handmade Jewelry Gift and Shopping Service for my local customers in the Los Angeles area. So, if you don’t have time to shop at the mall, prefer a hand-made, one- of-a-kind gift, and live in the Los Angeles area, I will bring a variety of jewelry to you, which consists of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, barrettes, key chains, zipper pulls, photo jewelry and seashell wall hangings. Great for the holidays when you are so busy! In fact, my gift service is great anytime you are busy. I go to businesses, groups and show to individuals. Send me an email, or call me, and we can set up an appointment.
For those of you who do not live in southern CA, I do make custom jewelry. So, contact me, and we can discuss what you have in mind. I have many pieces of jewelry in themes. So, let me know which theme you are interested in, and I will send you pictures of some of the items I have in stock. You may like what I already have, or feel free to ask for an item in a particular color or style.
Hi! You can’t believe how busy I have been! I am getting ready for an Art’s and Craft’s Show in Montrose, CA on May 31st and June 1st. I have a little over a week left to get ready! I will have a 10′ X 10′ booth there. I have been going to this yearly show every year as a customer. Now, I am going as a participant who is selling my items. I feel good about being in the show, because it is a “juried” show, which means there are judges deciding who can be in the show. There will be about 300 artisans and a few food booths. There are also some good places to eat in the restaurants. It’s a really fun Arts and Crafts Show to go to. If you are in the area, I’d love to have you stop by my Embellished Charms booth. I keep coming up with new ideas, and I am working on many new designs. Here are a couple of pictures of my Tree of Life earrings and necklaces. These trees are hand painted on both sides. The necklaces are 24″ long, including the hand painted tree. Any comments would be welcome.
I love little doggies! In fact, I have one of my own. He is a Silky Terrier, named Toby. I’m putting a picture of him on this page. My brother and I took Toby to the beach dog park in Del Mar, CA. Toby loved it! He is standing there in the wet sand. He loved all the smells of the ocean and beach! He enjoyed meeting the other dogs, also.
Having Toby in my life, inspired me to make some doggie earrings. Here are three of them. What fun! I have been asked by Rhodie at Doggie Depot, in Arcadia, CA, to put some of my earrings in her store. I’m getting some ready, now, to put in the store. By the way, Rhodie is an excellent dog clipper! I’m so happy with the cut that she gave Toby! I’ll be posting some other doggie earrings on my next post.
Boy! Did I have fun with the hot glue gun! First, I took coordinating colored felt and glued it on to the metal French Barrett. Then, I found buttons that would make cute Barrett’s for both little girls, AND big girls. I glued the buttons on the felt in a particular design that I liked. And, VOILA! – a French Barrett for someone special!
Spring means flowers! So, I’ve been working on a few flower designs. I have one here that is made with lucite beads, seed beads, bugle beads, silver filled wire, silver ear wires and crystals. I’ll be making flower earrings for both adults and children. The flower designs will be small, medium and large. There will be more flower designs in my gallery soon. Happy Spring Everyone!
Here is a pair of earrings I just finished. I hand painted the mermaid charms. They are attached to an iridescent round, polished shell, along with a fresh water pearl. I used silver filled wire and silver ear wires. These earrings were really fun to design!
