I’ve been having fun creating various Christmas tree earrings. The ones pictured here are made from Swarovski Margarite flower crystals. There are several colors of green used to make the earrings, which is the designer’s choice: emerald, moss, peridot and fern (4mm – 12mm.) Light siam (red) and green can be interchanged, also. I used little crystal stars, or 3mm yellow and red bicone crystals as a “tree topper,” along with metal spacers (optional), in between each bead. Square crystal or round shaped metal beads were used for the tree “stand.” Silver filled or colored craft wire was used as the “trunk.” The ear wires are sterling.
These “Christmas trees” are easy and fun to make. If you’re into making jewelry, you may want to try a couple on your own with either gold filled or silver filled wire. I like giving a different look and style to each pair of earrings. Have a great holiday season!
