I have a friend, Genie, who went to Bondi Beach in Australia.  She and her daughter collected sea glass and shells on the beach.  Genie asked me to make her two pendants, using the sea glass and shells they found on the beach.  It was my delight to do so!

The fun part was that we created the pendants together.  She helped design both of them.  I glued the shells to the sea glass, the way Genie wanted them, and added a bail to hang each necklace.  She wanted a necklace she could use with both pendants.  So, I made her a moonstone necklace that would go with both pendants.

We are both very happy with the way they turned out.  What a lovely way to wear memories from a wonderful place where someone traveled.  I would like to do more of this “memories” jewelry.
