I’m working on something new this year. I am designing an alphabet of Cursive Capital Letters to make necklaces. I am adding seed beads to the letter to enhance the letter and give it some color. I give customers the choice of color of the seed beads. The beads go in different places in each letter. I also hammer the sterling wire to strengthen it, and give the letter some texture. It has been a fun project for me, and yet, quite daunting. There are so many ways to design a letter. I received a practice book at Christmas time on modern calligraphy. I plan to design a printed alphabet, also.

Hi! Happy New Year Everybody!

I have a friend up north who actually built a small dinosaur museum in her backyard. She has purchased fossils and dinosaur bones from many places. She has labeled everything in her museum. It was quite an accomplishment. I was amazed at her organization when I visited her.

When I went to Tucson last year, I purchased several dinosaur bone cabochons. I planned to wrap one for my friend, Pam. I did wrap one for her as a Christmas gift. Here it is below. She loves the pendant and the copper wire and necklace! So, I’m glad I made it for her.
